The Department of School Education has launched Ennum Ezhuthum Mission to transform the quality of teaching and learning in Classes 1 , 2 , and 3 in the state . The goal of the Ennum Ezhuthum mission is to ensure that all students in Tamil Nadu attain basic literacy & numeracy skills by 2025. The mission focuses to attain learning outcomes based on Tamil , English , and Mathematics . As per the reference citied.a third party organization has been chosen to conduct the Midline Assessment as part of the monitoring and evaluation process of the Ennum Ezhuthum mission for three years and it is informed to conduct Midline Assessment of Ennum Ezhuthum for classes 1 to 3 Students in 5096 schools in 38 districts . The details of districts wise no . of schools , no . of students to be assessed and the enumerators to be utilised are detailed below .
